Toward World-Class Economic Education

Global Economic Education Initiative

Developing the economic intelligence of the next generation

As the global economy becomes ever more interdependent and the structures of financial markets, science and technology, and international society grow more complex, the ability to understand the economy systematically and to analyze social change from multiple perspectives is becoming increasingly important.

Through academic collaboration with universities and research institutions around the world and with experts in economics and finance, FGH aims to create advanced educational opportunities grounded in economics and to enhance the intellectual capabilities of those who will lead the next generation.

What we value is not simply the acquisition of financial knowledge or economic theory.

It is developing people who can understand the structures behind economic phenomena, analyze complex social challenges scientifically, and contribute to building a sustainable economic society.

Five Pillars of Economic Education

  1. 01

    Economic Theory & Social Systems

Through foundational theories such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, and institutional economics, we develop the ability to understand systematically the interrelationship between economic activity and social structures.

  2. 02

    Global Economics & International Markets

By studying international trade, exchange rates, economic policy, and geopolitical factors across disciplines, learners develop the ability to understand the interdependence of the world economy and the structure of international markets.

  3. 03

    Financial Systems & Capital Markets

By learning about financial systems, capital markets, investment theory, and the mechanisms of capital allocation, learners deepen their understanding of the role finance plays in supporting economic growth and of its social functions.

  4. 04

    Economic Analysis & Decision Science

Through analytical methods such as statistics, econometrics, and data science, we develop the ability to evaluate economic phenomena on the basis of objective evidence and to make rational decisions.

  5. 05

    Sustainable Economic Development

By examining issues such as economic inequality, resource allocation, environmental problems, and technological innovation from an economic perspective, learners build knowledge that contributes to sustainable and inclusive economic development.

Integrating Academic Research & Economic Education

Bringing the world’s academic knowledge to the educational foundations of the next generation.

FGH connects its international academic network with expertise in economics and finance, aiming to shape an educational model grounded in an understanding of both theory and the real world.

Working across fields such as economics, financial science, social science, and advanced technology, and returning the results of academic research to education, we are building an advanced intellectual foundation capable of responding to a changing world economy.

Advancing Global Economic Literacy

The ability to understand the economy changes the future of society.

The essence of economic education lies not only in learning how wealth is created, but in considering how limited resources should be allocated and how the prosperity of society as a whole can be raised sustainably.

Drawing on academic research and international expertise, FGH contributes to developing a next generation able to reconcile economic rationality with social responsibility.

Understanding the world, interpreting the economy, and envisioning the future of society.

Passing on the intellectual foundation for this to the next generation is what we believe education should be.
